Hello from the ladies of House of Colour-Lake Minnetonka! We believe in creating a space where all clients feel seen, comfortable and confident in their own skin. We are honored to walk alongside you on this journey and can’t wait to have you in the studio to experience the magic! Below is an overview of both color & style. COLOR CONSULTATION //

A Color Consultation is a personalized service that takes around 1-1.5 hours per person. During the Color Analysis, you will see yourself transform when draped in your “right” colors, and see the opposite effect when draped in your “wrong” colors. You will discover the colors for clothing, accessories, hair color and make-up that make you look & feel your absolute best.

To do the color analysis, we will use natural lighting and we’ll need to see your natural skin tone, so please don’t wear any make-up to the session. Self-tanning lotions and spray tans mask your natural coloring, so if that is part of your routine please make sure it has worn off before your consultation. During the session we will apply what we call “90 second natural make-up” (mineral powder, blush, lipstick) in your colors to show you just how much of an impact even the colors of our cosmetics have on your overall appearance. 

We carry all the makeup we use during your consultation so if you’d like to purchase any makeup post consult, you can repeat what we do in the studio at home!

We will use a drape to cover your clothing so dress comfortably and please avoid anything with a high neck.

You will receive a color fan ($75 value) containing fabric samples of your best colors along with a booklet with information about living life in your season!  The cost for the Color Analysis is:

• $295/person (group rate) – Weekdays

• $395/person (individual rate) – Weekdays

• $395/person (group rate only available) – Weekends

We ask for payment to confirm your appointment. Preferred payment is Venmo. Please let us know if you need another payment arrangement.

STYLE CONSULTATION //

This life-changing session teaches you how to create a wardrobe that allows you to look your best every day. Using Carl Jung’s basic body archeotypes, you will discover how your God-given body architecture helps dictate what style of clothing will naturally look better on you. At House of Colour, we also take personality into account because authenticity is part of creating a wardrobe that reflects confidence, trustworthiness, authority and beauty.

A STYLE CONSULTATION is designed to provide guidelines about styles of clothing that will work best for YOU for the rest of your life, regardless of what fashion is doing. You will learn that there are clothing shapes and styles that best suit your body’s natural lines, your personality and your lifestyle. We will help you choose the right accessories, patterns and textures to complement your Clothing Personality.

Understanding your Personal Style will help you make educated shopping decisions, while avoiding costly mistakes.

A COLOR and STYLE session with a House of Colour consultant will give you the puzzle pieces to unlock the mysteries of your closet. Why do you love some of your clothes and never wear others? Statistics have shown that we wear 15% of our clothes 85% of the time. House of Colour can help you change that.

The cost for a Style Consultation is:
